Annual ENA Summit

The 26th Annual Edmond Neighborhood Alliance (ENA) Summit has come and gone as of Saturday, February 22, 2020. This was a gathering of interested Edmond neighbors with dedicated Edmond City staff employees and selected Edmond vendors/agencies. We had excellent speakers discussing the current activities in our city and planned future events and developments.

A Message From Our Mayor

“Friends and Neighbors,

You are most welcomed to join other Edmond Residents and City Leaders at the SUMMIT this Saturday at the Senior Center in Mitch Park.

The SUMMIT is comprehensive review about the great things happening in Edmond.  This year we will also spend some time discussing East Edmond Development and Utilities.  A lot of things are going on and changes are happening all around town.  There will be City Officials, County Officials, City Council members, Chief JD Young, Edmond Police and

Chief Chris Goodman, Edmond Fire Department and many more.  Council members Darrell Davis and Nick Massey will be there, I am sure you will see David Chapman and maybe Council Member Josh Moore will drop by after taking his kids to the Rocket Slide in Stephenson Park.  Joining us will also be Oklahoma County Assessor Larry Stein and Oklahoma County Commissioner Kevin Calvey.

We will also have a number of exhibitors –  the US Census Bureau – Election Board & Voter Information – YMCA – Bikes and Trail Information – Tree Grants for HOA’s – Code Enforcement – Different Civic Organizations – Edmond Historical Museum – Smart Sprinkler Systems – 20 year history of Road Projects and Neighborhood Overlays.  Find out what else is on the Super Tuesday Mar 3rd  Ballot – you will be surprised.  We plan to have an Electric Bike on display.

Let give Ed Moore ENA President and the ENA Board members kuko’s  for organizing the SMMIT – the 26th year in a row.  We need to also thank the cosponsors of the SUMMIT: Larry Steven City Manager, City staff and Edmond’s Citizen of the Year, EEDA Director Janet Yowell, who leads the Edmond Economic Development Authority.  Their participation helps to make the SUMMIT one of Edmond’s truly unique community events.

Refreshments, snacks and drinks – door prizes are provided.  Good time for everyone.

Mayor Dan O’Neil”
